CORE Remains Industry’s Only BBA Approved Recycled Roofline

As we look towards becoming a more sustainable, more efficient planet for the generations ahead to live on, today is World Environment Day 2023 and here at GAP we are constantly looking for new ways to improve our practises – from greener vehicles to our 100% recycled roofline products, Core.

Over a decade after first releasing our industry-first 100% recycled BBA approved board, we are still as of today the only building plastics manufacturer in the UK to do so, offering a high-quality range of fascia, soffits and cladding in this 100% recycled format.

We use recycled PVC-U rooflines that are re-extruded into our inner core, which meet and exceed the most stringent recycling and sustainability criteria and are regular products for customers in both the residential and commercial house building markets.

Joint MD, Simon Bird is delighted that GAP continue leading the way with sustainable low-maintenance building products:

“Rolling into 2023 we are starting to see more companies taking up further initiatives to reduce their energy usage, improve efficiency and adhere to greener practices.

“However, our Core is still to this day the only BBA approved roofline made entirely from recycled roofline, a statistic we are incredibly proud of and for a product that continues to be a hit with our customers over a decade after its introduction to the market.”

This range of Core products continue to lead the way in our industry for sustainability and accountability within the building plastics market and come with the same guarantee as our range of standard roofline products of the same colour – 15 years!

You can view our full range of Core products in our new brochure, available either online or in-store at one of our 87 depots nationwide.
