Maintenance & Servicing of Solar Panels
The Homesmart Solar Hot Water System requires minimal maintenance, but in order to maintain the effectiveness of the solar collector, it is recommended that the anti freeze that circulates the system is changed every 5 years (for 2 collectors) or 3 years (for 3 or more collectors). This is quite a straight forward process, and most installers will provide the option of a maintenance package to give you peace of mind. 10 year guarantee & 30 year life expectancy.
Solar Panel Guarantee
All high performance Homesmart Solar Panel Collectors have a life expectancy of 30 years and carry a comprehensive 10 year guarantee period. Click here to register your Homesmart guarantee online. Homesmart's 10 year guarantee stipulates that the anti freeze in the system must be renewed after 5 years by a qulified installer.
